Burn Injury (Global)

About this PSP

The Global Burn Injury Priority Setting Partnership launched in 2021 and will work with patients, carers and clinicians in countries across the world to identify and prioritise uncertainties about burn care management. The scope of the PSP will include any aspect of international burn care for patients of any age or gender, with thermal burn injuries of any cause.

The results of the PSP will be used as information for research funders and researchers so that studies can focus on the issues that are most important to patients and clinicians.

Burn injuries affect 11 million peopleworld-wide and 140,000 patients in England each year.
