Do people with bipolar who are given more choice and control in their treatment plan as well as given evidence based information about medication side effects improve quicker than patients who are less involved in their own care plan? ~ What are the effects of much of the ongoing management of the condition lying with the sufferer? ~ As a pharmacist I would be interested to know if patients receive enough information about their medication and have a choice of the medication prescribed. ~ Why so much resistance to involvement in my own care? ~ How can patients participate more in their own treatment/feed back to workers what helps/what doesn't?
